You know, at some point during the course of almost every business class I have attended the presenter will say, “you gotta have a why. Because without your why the business does not thrive.”
YOU are “My Why”.
My purpose as a photographer is to immerse myself in moments filled with hope, aspirations, and love shared among people. As a lifestyle photographer, my passion is evident in the images I capture, especially of high school seniors. However, I also have a heart and desire to photograph couples and expectant mothers, therefore I still offer lifestyle photo sessions for both. The unity I witness in these moments drives me forward and motivates me to spread love through my photography, one photo at a time.
As for the me that takes center stage when I am not totally immersed in the role of photographer…
I am a daughter, a sister and a best friend. A wife, who is blessed to share my life with a handsome locomotive engineer. I am a mother, who is still adjusting to an empty nest. I also hold the adored titles of aunt and great-aunt. I take pride in being a published writer, a lover of Staffordshire bull terriers, and a passionate music lover. Wildflowers captivate me, although I must admit that I am not much of a gardener. Oh. And I am a devoted fan of the Atlanta Braves. Go Braves!
At the core, I am a cowgirl with a forever touch of southern charm. Memphis, Tennessee is my home. I am someone who thrives on uplifting others and cherishes deep conversations where my inner introvert turns into an extroverted self. I find joy in sharing my life stories and engaging in meaningful discussions rather than shallow talks.
Most importantly, my faith as a child of God is the foundation of my existence, giving me confidence and hope even in uncertain times.
